The gateway to the South Island of New Zealand is Christchurch International Airport. Once you arrive there, it's only 3 hours drive north up the coast to the gorgeous seaside town of Kaikoura.
Once in Kaikoura, we offer clean, comfortable and inexpensive rooms of which 4 have unobstructed views of the sea, mountains and sunrise. The view at the top of this page is what you will see from several of the motel rooms as well as the bungalow. There is so much to see and do in this beautiful scenic town. The unique combination of ocean and mountains offers stunning coastal alpine scenery and a host of eco-tourism oriented activities, including Whale watching, Dolphin swimming, walks, and much more!

Our Sunrise Bungalow and Motels central beachfront location means you can easily walk to the town centre and to an excellent selection of Restaurants. There is a childrens playground and swimming pool only 250 metres away and we have free parking for cars, boats and campervans in our off road parking area.
This fantastic bungalow has incredible sea views from every room.
There is a double bedroom and if required an additional double bed can be placed in the spacious lounge area. There is a separate sunroom at the front and all other facilities. This is a very private unit and you can truly make yourself at home here.
Room 1 - this unit's view of the sea is commanding from the top floor and it contains one double and two singles in the same room, great for a family. Fully self contained with kitchen and bathroom - what a great way to start the day with a view like this!
Room 2 - this room again has a superb ocean view and contains one double in one room and two single beds in the lounge room, perfect for young members of the family. This room is spacious and of course includes a kitchen and bathroom.
Room 3 - this room has a double and single bed in the same room and one single bed in the lounge room. Also a spacious room with all facilities.
Rooms 4 and 5 - not the ocean view rooms but quiet, comfortable and clean. Both have a double and single bed lending themselves well for a couple or two friends.
Room 7 - Sorry, closed for renovations also!
No sea view but with 3 double bedrooms, you can comfortably fit up to 6 adults and simply walk across the road to the beach.
